Today was all about navigating through several beach cities on A1A. And let’s just say it’s getting harder and harder for Tom to find gas station foil-wrapped cheeseburger sammiches in cities like West Palm Beach.🤣

Tom amazes me going though these towns safely guiding us through traffic, calling road hazards, staying on route, etc. It’s totally different riding here in south Florida along the coast. It’s gorgeous but overwhelming to the senses.

Tonight we landed in Hollywood, at a beachfront Marriott property (thanks again Anne) and right on the boardwalk. There’s so many shenanigators and always something to see (but not take a picture of). 😳

Tomorrow we ride through Miami and beyond that, the Keys and maybe a little quieter vibe. In all things… giving thanks. 1 Thes 5:18 ❤️

You two are one cruisin’ duo. I love your progress. Looks like tomorrow (today) you will be in Homestead or Florida City, or maybe even Key Largo. After Florida City no more city riding for you. I love your trip. It’s getting so exciting. What’s your exit strategy from Key West?

Shooting for Florida City today! Our daughter, her husband and our son are picking us up in Key West. SIL will fly home and road trip home on Monday to Indy. 😊

Long Key SP is 70 miles from Florida City. Just might work for you.

We camped at a dreamy beach in Long Key State Park. The campsites were all full so they put us in the overflow site for hikers and bikers, which was way better than their normal “campsite”. It was completely isolated from anybody or any thing. Wonderful.

I think that might be where we are going tomorrow but they only offer walk in sites now. Hurricane Ian caused a lot of damage so no regular camping. Will work for us tho!
